The state Legislature on Tuesday approved an expansion of Oregon's small system of marine reserves to research how they may help better manage commercial fisheries. The legislation ends more than a decade of fighting among commercial fishermen, conservation groups and coastal communities.

Dirt! The Movie

On February 28, 2012, Vancouver Watersheds Alliance will be hosting a FREE screening of Dirt! The Movie.

The screening will be held at the downtown Vancouver Library from 6 - 9p. There will be FREE food and a great discussion to follow with a panel comprised of a certified arborist, the director of the Master Composter/Recycler program, and a landscape designer! This is a family friendly event, and we hope to see you all there!
