We are open to expanding this schedule to meet the needs of the community. Through grants that were awarded to neighborhoods around Vancouver, we will be helping Friends of Trees and the City of Vancouver Urban Forestry Program plant street trees with the help of homeowners. For more information about the street trees and those plantings, visit www.friendsoftrees.org. CleanupsWe offer opportunities to beautify our neighborhoods and communities. The Vancouver Watersheds Alliance holds several clean up events throughout the year. If you group is interested in holding a cleanup event, the Vancouver Watersheds Alliance can provide gloves, garbage bags and administrative support. For more information on getting involved in a cleanup event, email the program coordinator This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
